Summary

The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to the design and development of innovative software solutions to business challenges. This role will produce quality code which follows best practices and industry standards.

Job Scope

  • Analyzes, designs, and develops solutions to basic to medium-complexity functional requirements covering front-end, middleware and database.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots medium to high-severity production issues.
  • Performs code reviews.
  • Participates in functional and user story requirements discussions.
  • Participates in technical analysis, task breakdown and estimations.
  • Participates in project cadence meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct.

Functional Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
  • Three years of experience in software development.
  • Two years of experience in database development using MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL, or NoSQL Databases.
  • Two years of experience in back-end application development using .NET or similar programming languages.
  • One year of experience in front-end application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • AWS or Azure Cloud Practitioner Certification preferred.
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred.
  • Understanding of agile and software development principles and processes.
  • Proficient in design patterns and software architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Application development using .NET 5, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, or .NET Framework 4.5+.
  • Front-end web application development using JS frameworks and platforms like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Database platforms using MS SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL.
  • RESTful API and microservices development using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, or MuleSoft.
  • Cloud computing platforms and technologies using AWS or Azure.
  • Familiar with containers using Docker.
  • CI/CD tools and technologies with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts), Jenkins Pipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Maven, Gradle.
  • Source control management using GitHub, TFS or Azure DevOps Git.
  • IDE tools like VS Code and Visual Studio.
  • Unit test frameworks using Nunit, VS Tests, Jasmine, Karma.
